Sky is one of the best service providers when it comes to TV as well as Superfast broadband. However, its services are rarely cheap, and customers can often find themselves in pricey long-term contracts for up to 18 months.
Sky TV packages start at £25/mth for Sky Signature, £19/mth for Sky Cinema and £48/mth for Sky Sports. Sky Broadband, on the other hand, is split into three options, each one progressively faster and more expensive. These include Essential (11Mbits/sec download and 1Mbits/sec upload at £25/mth), Superfast (59Mbits/sec and 16Mbits/sec upload at £27/mth) and Ultrafast (145Mbits/sec download and 27Mbits/sec upload at £35/mth).
It’s also important to note that Sky’s TV and broadband packages often include a one-time set-up fee. This is usually £20, but if you are a first-time Sky customer, it will cost you twice as much.
However, with the new year fast approaching, Sky is offering some great deals on its broadband, TV and mobile packages that will help you to save money in the long run. Offers include double data on Sky’s SIM-only plans, savings on Samsung Galaxy S20 and iPhone 12 contracts, and Sky Superfast broadband for just £25 a month. Read on for the best of what’s on offer from Sky in the new year.

The best Sky TV deals this new year
1. Double data on Sky SIM-only plans
Sky Mobile is still relatively new, but it offers some great features, including a rollover data plan which means that any data you don’t use over the course of a month will be added onto your allowance for the next month. Plus, you can watch Sky Go for free without even eating into your data at all.
If that wasn’t enough, Sky is currently offering customers double data on SIM-only plans, with 6GB for the price of 3GB at just £8 a month. This offer is for a minimum 12-month contract, and ends on 25 February.
2. Savings on 5G smartphones
You can also save big on some of Sky’s 5G-ready smartphone plans. The iPhone 12 with 50GB of data is just £43 a month, saving you £360 over a 36-month contract. You can also get the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G with 50GB for £38 a month, alongside a free Samsung Galaxy Watch Active.
Plus, if you’re subscribed to Sky’s loyalty programme, Sky VIP, then you can get 5G for free (usually £5/mth). For more information, and to check if you can get 5G coverage in your area, see here.
3. Save on Sky Superfast broadband
From 30th December 2020, Sky is offering its Superfast Broadband (plus Anytime Calls) for £25 a month on an 18-month contract. This would usually cost you £27 a month, so you’ll be saving a total of £216.
Alternatively, you can get Superfast Broadband bundled together with Sky TV for £39 a month, saving you £234 over 18 months. And with Sky’s Speed Guarantee, you can claim the cost of one month’s broadband subscription back if you don’t get your promised speed.
